mangaliso dlamini:  Creative Director

Mangaliso Dlamini’s career began 12years ago at Media Graphix in Swaziland. He later moved on to Johannesburg to work for TBWA Hunt Lascaris on account such as Nandos, MTN, Edgars and Metro fm. In 1996 Mangaliso was approached to help set up a new agency called Mashabela Burrows. At Mashabela Burrows, Mangaliso worked on the famous ‘Ndizani Bafana Bafana Ndizani’ campaign that saw the South African soccer squad win the Africa Cup Of Nations in 1996. That very same year Mangaliso was roped in by Saatchi & Saatchi to work on the National Lottery bid. This proved to be a successful relationship as we saw Mangaliso’s creation go on to win the heart and minds of the South African population with the: ‘Tata ma chance tata ma millions campaign that launched the first ever lottery in South Africa. This campaign grossed R52 million a week during its early stages.

Mangaliso moved over to Herdbuoys Mccann to work on Coca Cola, Telkom and South African Airways accounts. In 2001 Mangaliso was approached by Inroads to head the Creative department. Mangaliso is the founder and partner at Sbukosesive.
